Delete your account

In the app

1. Open Settings › Account security.
2. If you want a copy, tap Download your data first.
3. Open Delete your account, type DELETE and enter your password. If you use two-step sign-in, you'll be asked for a code too.
4. Tap Permanently delete account. The app signs you out once it's done.

Using SHFTRS without an account? Everything is on your phone, so removing the app removes it.

What's deleted

Your account, your backup, your Circle links, your plan progress and your personal records. Everything on your phone is removed too. People in your Circle stop seeing your shifts straight away.

What we can't delete

• Files you've already downloaded or shared. Once they leave the app, we can't reach them.
• What someone in your Circle has already seen or noted.
• Short-lived copies our database supplier may hold in backups and service logs. They aren't used to run anything and they expire.

If you can't open the app

1. Email privacy@shftrs.app from the email address on your account.
2. Use the subject Delete my SHFTRS account.
3. We'll reply to check it's you, then delete the account and confirm when it's done, within one month.

Smaller steps

• Delete my body data in Settings removes your height, weight and sex, and keeps everything else.
• Switch off a part of the app you don't want, such as Food or Training, in Settings.
• Stop sharing with someone from their page in Circle.
