These are beta terms. SHFTRS is still being tested, so features may change and the service may occasionally be unavailable.

About these terms

These terms form an agreement between you and SHFTRS when you access the SHFTRS app or website. The legal company registration is currently being completed; the registered company name, number and address will be added here once confirmed.

By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms and our Privacy notice. If you do not agree, do not use SHFTRS.

What SHFTRS provides

SHFTRS is a practical personal tool for organising shift patterns, planning around duty, keeping records and sharing selected information. During beta we may add, change, pause or remove features while we test reliability and usefulness.

We aim to keep the service available and accurate, but we do not promise uninterrupted availability or that every feature will be error-free.

Your account and records

You must provide accurate account information, keep your sign-in details secure and tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission. You are responsible for checking the rota, times, pay figures and other records you enter or import.

Do not use SHFTRS as the only record of a duty, instruction, deadline or entitlement. Keep or check the official record supplied by your employer where it matters.

Important limits on guidance

SHFTRS may help explain patterns, records or things that could be relevant to you. This is general information, not a decision by your employer and not legal, financial, tax, medical, occupational-health or union advice.

Workplace rules and individual circumstances differ. Check important decisions against your contract, official policy and appropriate professional or representative advice. If the app’s information conflicts with an official instruction, do not rely on the app without checking.

Circle and sharing

Circle is intended to let you share selected duty information with people you trust. You are responsible for choosing whom to invite and what to share. A recipient may retain information after you stop sharing it, so do not share information that they should not have.

You must not use Circle to monitor, harass or mislead another person or to disclose confidential operational, employer or third-party information.

Acceptable use

You must not misuse the service, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with its operation, upload unlawful or harmful content, impersonate another person, infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights, or use SHFTRS for unlawful activity.

The app, website, branding and software are owned by or licensed to SHFTRS. We give you a limited, personal, revocable and non-transferable right to use the service in accordance with these terms.

Responsibility

Nothing in these terms excludes responsibility that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory consumer rights.

Subject to that, SHFTRS is provided for personal use and we are not responsible for losses caused by relying on unverified app information, failing to follow official instructions, events outside our reasonable control, or use of the service contrary to these terms.

Suspension, deletion and ending use

You may stop using SHFTRS at any time and can request account deletion through our Delete account page. We may limit or suspend access where reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, serious misuse or protection of other users.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as SHFTRS develops. We will post the new version here and, for significant changes, provide notice in the app or by email where appropriate.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you keep any mandatory rights and may be able to bring a claim in your local courts.
